South Africa\u2019s youth unemployment rate remains one of the highest in the world<\/strong>, with millions of young people searching for opportunities. On paper, the delivery industry <\/strong>looks like a perfect solution: flexible hours, low barriers to entry, and growing demand. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So why are many young people still hesitant to enter the delivery space<\/strong>? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Safety Concerns <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Young people often fear for their safety on the road<\/strong>, especially when using scooters and bikes in busy urban areas. Concerns about accidents, theft, and late-night deliveries discourage many from even considering this line of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
